Long-term Loans
Our Long-term Loan Products are among the most competitively priced loans in the market. They are secured using members’ shares, but we are flexible enough to consider alternative forms of loan security, including collateral and salary guarantees.
1. Jamii Normal Loan
- Granted in multiples of 3.
- Maximum repayment period is 48 months.
- Maximum loan is based on the ability.
- Interest rate of 12% per annum.
2. Jamii Project Loan
- Granted in multiples of 4.
- Maximum repayment period is 30 months.
- Maximum loan is Kshs. 1,000,000.
- Interest rate of 14% per annum on reducing balance.
- Processing fee of 1.5%.
3. Jamii Jiinue Loan
- Granted in multiples of 5.
- Maximum repayment period is 96 months.
- Maximum loan is Kshs. 4,000,000 and Kshs. 6,000,000 for cash and check-off-based members respectively.
- Interest rate of 14% per annum.
- Processing fee of 1.5%.
4. Jamii Mstaafu Loan
- Granted within 80% of the member's deposits.
- Maximum repayment period is 36 months.
- Interest rate of 12% per annum.
- Maximum loan is based on member's ability.
4. Jamii Bila Riba Loan
- To be granted 3 times of the member's deposits secured by guarantors or security.
- 2.5% facility fees to be charged.
- Maximum repayment period of 24 months.
- Members with this loan will not access dividends/rebates on deposits.
- Allows partial withdrawal of member deposit up to 50% upon request by member.
